I am currently using Liquitex™ BASICS Acrylic Color for my Acrylic Paints. It is affordable and has a smooth, creamy texture I really like. I think this makes doing heavy textures with it a bit tricky, but its great for blending. I am considering playing around with some additives that would add thickness and texture to it. I really enjoy making abstract paintings with acrylic paint, it is fun to smoosh around and blend. It's also easy to paint over if you don't like what you made.

I tend to swing back and forth between mediums at various times. I might spend a couple of months playing with Acrylic, then switch to watercolor for a while. The flowers in this collection were created using a friend's amazing photography as a reference.
